Are the two folate numbers separate ingredients?

No. The 400 mcg dietary folate equivalents (DFE) and 240 mcg folic acid describe the same folate ingredient per strip. They are two ways of expressing that amount, not amounts to add together.

Do I swallow the strip like a tablet?

Place one strip on your tongue and let it dissolve, following the once-daily directions. The raspberry strip is an alternative format to a conventional iron tablet.
