Valerian Root, Lavender, Chamomile and Melatonin
Three of the four are plants with a long record of evening use in Europe. The fourth, melatonin, is a hormone the body already makes once the light drops.
Valerian is a root, lavender a flower spike and chamomile a small daisy. All three were brewed as evening teas long before anyone put them in a strip.
Melatonin is a hormone made in the dark by the pineal gland. It is a timing signal for the body clock rather than a sedative.
The strip is a thin film of dissolvable material carrying the ingredients, the same format used for breath fresheners.
Thirty strips, one a night, is a month. The amounts are on the pack.
